Treatment of laser vascular lesions .. Yellow light has less effect and decreases the absorption of melanin compared to light green or blue

Treatment of vascular lesions:
Hemoglobin is a chromophore target for laser light. Any undesirable uptake of the skin by melanin will tend to heat a non-vascular or non-targeted tissue above or near the vascular lesion.
The surgeon should be able to make the light firmly through non-vascular tissue or surface pigmentation without harming the absorption of pigment or scars and the destruction of inferior vascular tissue. We must choose the wavelength most absorbed by the target hemoglobin to be treated and less prevalent.
Yellow color is ideal and better and affects very closely hemoglobin. Yellow light has less effect and decreases the absorption of melanin compared to light green or blue. Longer waves such as orange and red are not well absorbed by hemoglobin or melanin.
