Tay syndrome:
This syndrome is characterized by a red, diffuse skin disorder with focal areas of hyperplasticity, mental retardation, and tooth and nail abnormalities.
Treatment:
- There is no quality treatment.
- Generalized erythema for infected infants should be treated with caution.
- Low heat and severe drought need special care.
Corticosteroids give an organ as a life saver in severe cases.
- Emollients in cases of keratosis may be necessary. Retinoic acid topical may benefit in some cases. Ateretin, a dose of 0.5 mg / kg / day may provide significant relief for some patients and treatment should be lifetime to maintain improvement.
