Vaccination schedule:
Constituent dose: The Lebanese Ministry of Health recommends that an initial dose of measles vaccine be administered at the end of the ninth month. A second dose of measles should be given with the measles, rubella and abu ka'ab vaccine after the end of the first year of life.
Remedial dose: One dose of measles, rubella, and abu Kaab vaccine is given at age 4-6 years.
National doses supportive of the vaccine: The Lebanese Ministry of Health calls for national measles and rubella immunization campaigns for 2-3 years for children under the age of five with the aim of eradicating the measles and rubella virus in the Lebanese environment.
