* Effectiveness of melanocytes:
Has more effect than melanocytes density in the skin. The number of melanocytes in the Negroes is no more numerous than the melanocytes found in the Caucasian.
Melanin production rate:
- The size and deposition of pigmented bodies.
- Transfer pigment to keratinocytes.
