The protocol for dental trauma involves all of the following, except:
a. Ideally, the tooth should be repositioned to its original position.
b. EPT and thermal testing are unreliable following trauma since physical trauma can severe or damage nerve supply without altering pulpal blood supply/vitality.
c. If the root is completely formed on a tooth that has been intruded, a pulpectomy should be performed within 1-3weeks after the injury. ***
d. The tooth should be splinted for 2 to 4 months if it sustains a root fracture
